Before visiting the hospital, please read the following information:
Plan your visit
Patients may tire easily, so please consider planning for a short visit only. We also ask visitors to ensure they remain considerate of other patients in keeping noise levels low when visiting and that children are supervised at all times.
Please also consider rescheduling your visit if you feel unwell until your health improves.
Lilies are known to cause allergies in some people. In the interests of protecting patients, staff and visitors, we do not allow lilies in any of our hospitals.
Epworth welcomes all other flowers.
Food and drink
While there are no cafe facilities on site, several cafes and restaurants are within walking distance of the hospital.
Pick up and drop off
Patients may be dropped off or picked up at the front or rear of the building. It is important that this be done on a flat area of the driveway in order to reduce falls risk. Please speak with our staff if you require assistance.
Accommodation for visitors
A range of affordable hotels and accommodation are available close to the hospital. If you require further information about local accommodation, contact us on 9415 5777 and ask to speak to a social worker.
