Epworth Richmond's emergency department treats more patients than any other private hospital emergency department in Victoria, caring for over 29,000 adults and children annually.

By tram: When coming to Epworth Richmond via the city, catch tram 48 towards North Balwyn from Collins St or tram 75 towards Vermont South from Flinders St and get off at tram stop number 15.
By train: The closest train station to Epworth Richmond is West Richmond, which can be reached via the Mernda and Hurstbridge Lines.
Richmond station on Swan Street is also a 15-minutes walk from the hospital.

One parking voucher is available for all surgical patients who are admitted on the day of surgery. The car parking fee is capped at $20. This includes overnight and day cases.

- 10am - 8pm every day in wards other than rehabilitation.
In areas providing care for our most vulnerable patients, there are limits to the number of visitors at one time.

Rehabilitation visiting times allow patients to focus on their rehabilitation therapy during the day.

Patients may tire easily, so please consider planning for a short visit only. We also ask visitors to ensure they remain considerate of other patients in keeping noise levels low when visiting and that children are supervised at all times.

Pick up and drop off
The entrances at both Bridge Road and at Erin Street provide space for patient pick up or drop off. Cars can wait at the drop off point for a maximum of 5 minutes.
Wheelchairs are available from the main reception and may be requested by picking up a courtesy phone at the Bridge Road or Erin Street entrances.
Emergency department and Kids' emergency department - enter via 62 Erin Street, Richmond.

Flowers
Lillies are known to cause allergies in some people, so in the interests of protecting patients, staff and visitors from this known allergen, we do not allow lilies to be bought into any of our hospitals.
Epworth welcomes all other flowers.

Epworth Pathology is an affiliation of Melbourne Pathology and Epworth, providing quality pathology services to doctors and patients of Epworth.
The Epworth Richmond collection centre is open from Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6.00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Slade Pharmacy at Epworth Richmond offers comprehensive services to both visitors and patients.
The pharmacy can supply prescriptions, over-the-counter pharmaceuticals and a wide range of nutritional and home healthcare products. Pharmacy staff are available to counsel patients on the correct use of drugs.

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, the team at Zouki have implemented reduced trading hours:
- Monday to Friday: 6.00 am - 6.00 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 7.00 am - 5.30 pm
A fully vended service is also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The cafe is located on level 2.

Bridge Place
Bridge place is situated on the ground floor of the Danks Wing, easily located from the Bridge Road entrance. Light refreshments are available including a selection of coffees, hot and cold snacks, cakes and sandwiches.

Located within the Epworth Richmond hospital, outside Bridge Road entrance, delivery to Epworth Richmond is free. Same-day delivery for orders placed by 6:00pm.
