By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (Terms) and Epworth’s Privacy Policy. Any breach of these Terms or Epworth’s Privacy Policy may result in disqualification.

Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and any other published material relating to this competition, these Terms prevail.

When can you enter?

  1. This competition starts at 12.01am (AEDT) on 27 February 2026 and ends at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 31 March 2026 (Promotion Period). No entries will be accepted after this time.

Who can enter?

  1. Entry is open to Australian citizens aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Employees and contractors of Epworth Foundation, JAECE or MECCA Brands Pty Ltd and Related Bodies Corporate (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter.

How to enter

  1. This competition is a game of chance. Skill plays no part.
  2. To enter the competition, you must complete the JAECE Endometriosis Awareness Month survey during the Promotion Period. Each eligible survey submission equals one entry, and all entries have an equal chance of winning. Entries submitted after the end of the Promotion Period will not be accepted.
  3. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following:
    1. each entry must use a unique email address; and
    2. each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.

    It is your responsibility to notify us in writing if your contact details change.

  4. We may verify the validity of entries and entrants (including identity, age and place of residence). We may disqualify entrants whose entries do not comply with these Terms or who have tampered or interfered with the entry process.
  5. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries may be deemed invalid. We are not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, lost, late or misdirected entries.

Prize details

  1. Five winners will each receive one $100 MECCA gift card (total prize pool $500). Prizes are not transferable, saleable or redeemable as cash, credit or equivalent.

Draw and notification of winners

  1. Winners will be drawn at random on 10 April 2026 at the Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre at Epworth. The Promoter’s decision is final.
  2. Winners will be notified by email or phone within 2 business days of the draw. Winners’ names will be published on the JAECE website by 17 April 2026. By entering, you consent to your details being published on our website and social media pages, and in any other promotional material we consider relevant.

Prize collection

  1. Prizes must be collected in person from the JAECE office in Richmond VIC within 30 days of notification. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity.
  2. If a winner does not claim their prize within the prescribed time, the Prize will be forfeited and a redraw will occur using the same method as the original draw.

Warranties

  1. You warrant and agree that:
    1. your entry is not unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, unsuitable for minors, or otherwise inappropriate;
    2. you have obtained prior written consent from any person who appears in or is identifiable within your entry;
    3. you have obtained prior written consent from any person who jointly created or holds rights in your entry;
    4. your entry does not contain viruses and will not cause harm to any person or entity; and
    5. you will comply with all applicable laws relating to copyright, privacy, defamation, publicity and use of computer or communication systems.

Liability excluded

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion including a prize or the taking of a prize. We accept no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning a prize.

Use and disclosure of your information

  1. By entering this competition, you consent to us:
    1. using your Personal Information to conduct the competition and communicate with you if you win;
    2. publishing or disclosing your Personal Information to State and Territory lottery departments, as required by relevant laws; and
    3. using your name and likeness in any media, worldwide, for an unlimited period for promotional purposes without payment.

Suspension, cancellation, modification or termination of the competition

  1. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are not able to conduct the promotion as anticipated, we may suspend, modify, terminate or cancel the promotion unless to do so would be prohibited by law.

General

  1. We own all entries, including any Intellectual Property Rights comprised in the entries and their content.
  2. Any failure to enforce any of our rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  3. If any part of these Terms is illegal, void or unenforceable, it may be severed and the remainder will continue in force.
  4. These Terms and the competition are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
