Endometriosis is common. It affects one in 7 women in Australia, and many others who are transgender, intersex or gender diverse.
Most people with endometriosis will enter the health system through primary care. The average time to diagnosis from symptom onset is 7 to 12 years. At the Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre at Epworth, we passionately seek to change this.
The Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre at Epworth is a Centre of Excellence for endometriosis care in Victoria, Australia. Our expert clinical team has developed resources for patients and healthcare professionals. You will also find key Australian guidelines and tools on this page.
