Emerging Leaders is a 1-day workshop designed for registered nurses and midwives who are occasionally in charge and starting to supervise others, with a demonstrated aptitude and appetite to continue on a leadership pathway.
Our clinical leaders across Epworth HealthCare hold a key leadership role that is integral to ensure effective management of a department in the absence of the manager. This is achieved through balancing and prioritising the operational requirements and patient centred clinical care, whilst demonstrating self-awareness. You will explore and develop an understanding of this management and leadership role aligned with the day-to-day responsibilities.
