We look forward to welcoming you to Epworth Freemasons.
We have a number of protocols in place to protect you, your care team and other families.

Visiting times
Friends and family are welcome to visit you. We have designated visiting hours from 10am-1pm and 4pm-7pm. This will allow you to introduce your baby to your loved ones, while also allowing you plenty of time for rest.
In the interest of all patients, if you feel unwell or know you have a cold or flu, please refrain from visiting until your health improves.

Can my partner or support person stay with me in both the Birth Suite and Postnatal Ward?
You may have a maximum of two support people (including partner) with you at the birth.
This does not apply to Caesarean Section births (only one support person in theatre).
Please note that children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Birth Suite or operating theatre.

Can we visit our newborn baby in the Special Care Nursery?
We understand it can be a stressful time having your new baby admitted into special care. To maintain a safe and calm environment for our babies, we have visiting guidelines in place to uphold infection control standards and minimise risks for our babies.
Parents with a baby in the nursery have access to the area 24 hours a day.
Visiting hours for other visitors are between 11am–1pm and 4pm–7pm daily.
Limit of two (2) people per newborn cot side at any one time: either two parents/guardian(s) or one parent/guardian and one visitor.
Children under 14 years cannot visit the nursery.
