Why are we opening Epworth Eastern Kew?

Epworth Eastern, located at Box Hill, has commenced construction of a 14-storey expansion that will bring much needed additional beds, operating theatres, car parking and a state-of-the-art Emergency Department to the region.

In order to reduce disruption to our patients and medical staff, and to maintain an excellent patient experience, we are opening Epworth Eastern Kew for the next few years to enable the transfer of some of our surgical cases to the Kew site.
