John Cunningham is an internationally recognised and respected orthopaedic surgeon specialising in spinal and neck disorders. He is a recognised leader in his field and has already been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to medicine. John has extensive local, national and international experience in all treatment of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He is a leader with the latest techniques and travels the world seeking to keep up to date with emerging technologies. His expertise currently extends to robotic surgery, intraoperative CT scan assistance, minimally invasive surgical techniques and traditional open surgery, depending on what the patient needs. John is also an appointed Visiting Medical Officer at Royal Melbourne Hospital where he treats many traumatic spinal injuries. He has private consulting rooms in Richmond.
