This program offers the opportunity for you to produce academic work consistent with a postgraduate level before entering into postgraduate studies. It enhances your ability to deliver excellence in patient care within your chosen employment area and allows potential for career progression.
The program also includes online learning and face to face sessions, creating an academic bridge between undergraduate and post graduate study.
Clinical hurdles and assessments allow you to demonstrate your bedside care delivery, whilst academic and computer literacy skills are showcased via oral presentation, written assignment and written examination.
There are 2 intakes for the ISP program offered across all Epworth acute sites:
There are seven full day face to face sessions, where participants learn how to apply theory to practice through participation in group work, class discussions and making sense of the online material against real case studies.
Participants will be provided with access to the online content one month prior to the start dates.
