Overview

Gastroenterologists, Dr Andrew Buckle and Prof Alex Boussioutas, will present this GP webinar in two parts.  The first section will review common hereditary syndromes in GI cancer such as Lynch Syndrome Fap and Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer and outline how to identify patients and refer them to appropriate services.  The second section will be about managing high risk patients and an overview of guidelines for endoscopic screening.  Dr Buckle and Prof Boussioutas have successfully designed and implemented a GI High Risk Management Service and will present data on how it functions and critical outcome measures that show it to be very successful in early detection and prevention of cancer.
