Dr Ania Sliwinski

Dr Ania Sliwinski is an Australian trained consultant urologist who completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne. She went on to complete her surgical training across both metropolitan and regional hospitals in Victoria to gain accreditation from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Ania then underwent further fellowship training concentrating on the management of incontinence and minimally invasive stone surgery. She also trained in male infertility microsurgery at the Centre for Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery at the Cornell Institute for Reproductive Medicine and went on to perform the first microsurgical testicular sperm harvesting procedure in Geelong in 2023.

Prior to medical training Ania completed a Bachelor of Medical Science and was awarded a first class Honours for her research thesis. She has presented research at local and international conferences and was awarded the Alban Gee Award for best presentation at the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) Conference in 2018. Ania is passionate about training the next generation of surgeons and has been active in workshops and exam preparation for urology trainees. She has also been an instructor at cystoscopy workshops for the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Ania has professional memberships in the Urology Society of Australia and New Zealand; the American Urological Association, European Association of Urology, the International Urogynaecological Association and the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand.
