About

Dr Matias Yudi is a Structural and Interventional Cardiologist at Epworth Richmond and Austin Health. Matias became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2014. Following this, he underwent two years of subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Austin Health prior to travelling to New York City to complete a fellowship in Structural Heart Disease Intervention at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Centre. Upon his return to Australia he has been appointed as an interventional cardiologist at Austin Health, where he is also the clinical lead and Director of Structural Heart Intervention.

Matias is passionate about medical research and academia. He has published extensively, and his manuscripts have been featured in some of the world's top cardiology journals. He was awarded scholarships from the National Health Foundation and National Health and Medical Research Council to undertake his PhD on 'Optimising Clinical Outcomes in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndromes' through the University of Melbourne, which he completed in 2019. With his extensive clinical training and strong academic record, Matias brings cutting-edge technology and up-to-date medical knowledge to his patients to ensure they receive the best possible care.
