Dr Thinn Thinn Khine is an Endocrinologist specialising in Geriatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. Thinn Thinn has had extensive experience as a clinician and has been practising medicine since 2006. She has worked and trained in Myanmar, Jamaica, USA and Australia. She completed her specialist clinical training for Endocrinology at Austin Health and Barwon Health.
Thinn Thinn received multiple scholarships and travelling fellowships to be trained internationally as a physicianscientist in the field of Endocrinology in Ageing. Through these initiatives, she successfully engaged in a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, focused on Type II Diabetes research at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.
Her particular interest is diabetes in our aged population which goes hand in hand with her Geriatric Medicine qualifications.
