Dr Peter Lowthian

Appointed to the Epworth Board in 2020, Dr Lowthian is a Board Member of the Australia & New Zealand Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery Research Institution and a Fellow of RACP, RACMA, AFRM and RCP. He is also Member of Australian Medical Association and Medical Panels, Victoria. Dr Lowthian has extensive experience in clinical governance and patient safety, medical leadership and engagement, organisational leadership and culture, research governance and medical education. He previously served as Group Director Medical Services and Clinical Governance at Cabrini Health and was the Censor in Chief of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators until January 2023.
