Recipes brought to you by the Epworth team. Savoury glazed meatloaf, the go-to family favourite perfect hot or cold.

Serves: Approx 6
Prep Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 75 mins


  • 750 g minced steak
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 185 g can evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • Pinch of salt and pepper


  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar


Combine ingredients for glaze and put aside.

Mix together all remaining ingredients (mixture will be moist) and press into a greased loaf tin.

Turn upside down on foil lined oven tray leaving tin still over the loaf.

Bake in a moderate oven for 15 mins. Remove from oven and remove loaf tin. Brush meatloaf with the glaze.

Return to oven and cook for further 50-60 mins. Serve hot or cold.
