About
Dr Iris Tung is a consultant medical oncologist who treats all solid organ malignancies, with a special interest in breast and genitourinary cancers. After completing her medical degree at the University of Melbourne, she completed advanced training through the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Program at Eastern Health, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Bendigo Health and Goulburn Valley Health. She completed a research fellowship at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre, specialising in breast cancer clinical trials.
Iris continues to be actively involved in research. She is a sub-investigator in oncology clinical trials at the Monash University Eastern Clinical Research Unit and holds an honorary position at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, with a research interest in breast cancer registries.
Iris believes in evidence-based medicine and providing individualised care for all cancer patients. Iris is bilingual and can consult in fluent Cantonese.
