About
After graduating with honours from the National University of Ireland, Dr Ronan O'Donnabhain trained in clinical cardiology in tertiary centres in Ireland before moving to Melbourne in 2011 to pursue a career as a general physician with an interest in heart failure. He holds several qualifications in echocardiography from the University of Melbourne, and has presented research in the areas of hypertensive heart disease and heart failure at national and international meetings. Areas of ongoing research interest include heart failure in elderly, syncope and orthostatic hypotension.
