Dr Thiri Wai

Dr. Thiri Wai is a consultant physician in Rehabilitation Medicine at Epworth Geelong Hospital. She completed her specialist training in Rehabilitation Medicine at Alice Springs Hospital, Barwon Health, Epworth Geelong Hospital and Caulfield Hospital (Alfred Health) where she gained experience across all subspecialties of rehabilitation medicine such as musculoskeletal, multi-trauma, amputees, neurorehabilitation, reconditioning, rehabilitation in the home, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and spasticity. She was granted the Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM) of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2023. She is interested in musculoskeletal, multi-trauma, amputee, neurorehabilitation, cardiac, bariatric and oncology rehabilitation.

Dr Thiri Wai provides the comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services with the interdisciplinary team at Epworth Geelong Hospital.

She also practises at Barwon Health (McKellar centre) - Rehabilitation At Home Program.
