About
Mr Philip Jumeau is an ENT, Head and Neck Surgeon who studied medicine (Monash) and trained in ENT Surgery (FRACS) in Victoria. He qualified in 2005 and has spent the past 14 years working in Queensland. His area of expertise and sole area of practice is in the field of nasal reconstruction for both Cosmetic and Functional indications, usually both. His experience in complex revision cases, interest in rhinoplasty research and teaching of advanced trainees and other surgeons (In ENT and Plastics) has prompted his return to Melbourne full time in 2019 (He had been a regular visiting Specialist to Monash Health for 7 years prior).
Mr Jumeau's practice focuses on complex nasal reconstruction often following previous surgery or significant trauma. He has performed over 350 costal cartilage (rib graft) rhinoplasties. A large part of his practice is also cosmetic. He has had experience and an interest in nasal reconstruction in athletes: NRL, Basketball, Netball, MMA/UFC, Boxing, national swimmers, track.
His personal time is spent with family. Interests outside surgery include classic cars, motorcycle building and riding, farming and all things construction. He loves a good project. He keeps fit and has been a competitive mountain biker. Dr Jumeau loves travel, food and snow trips.
