Overview: Introduction to paediatric & adolescent gynaecology for general practitioners - As the first point of contact for children and adolescents presenting with gynaecological concerns such as menstrual irregularities, pubertal variation, vulvovaginal symptoms, pelvic pain, and suspected endocrine or structural conditions. These presentations are common, yet many GPs report limited formal training in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology and uncertainty in distinguishing normal pubertal development from pathology.
