Mr Lamont was appointed to the Epworth Board of Management in January 2026 and is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer and business leader, with more than 30 years’ experience in a range of roles with highly respected organisations. He was BHP’s CFO from 2020 to 2024 and prior to that was the CFO of ASX-listed global biotech company CSL Limited (from 2015 to 2020). He also held the positions of CFO and Executive Director at Minerals and Metals Group and previously served as CFO for several other multinational public companies, including OZ Minerals Limited, PaperlinX Limited and Incitec Pivot Limited. David is an Independent Non-Executive Director with Telstra (from 2024), APA Group (from 2024), President Financial Executives Institute of Australia (from 2025 and Director from 2013) and a Director of Geelong Cats Foundation (from 2021).
