Visiting information

  • Plan your visit

Patients may tire easily, so please consider planning for a short visit only. We also ask visitors to ensure they remain considerate of other patients in keeping noise levels low when visiting and that children are supervised at all times.

Please also consider rescheduling your visit if you feel unwell until your health improves.

  • Flowers

Lilies are known to cause allergies in some people. In the interests of protecting patients, staff and visitors, we do not allow lilies in any of our hospitals.

    Epworth welcomes all other flowers.

  • Food and drink

While there are no cafe facilities on site, several cafes and restaurants are within walking distance of the hospital.

  • Pick up and drop off

Patients may be dropped off or picked up at the main entrance, accessible via Wilson Street. Wheelchairs can be obtained from main reception.

  • Accommodation

Epworth Brighton is located near several hotels and other types of accommodation.

Accommodation for families of regional patients

For patients who do not live in Melbourne, Epworth Brighton will provide one night's accommodation in a nearby studio apartment for a family member or carer on the night before discharge to support the journey home.

Discounted accommodation packages are also available for longer stays.

For more information, please contact Julie Myers on (03) 9591 9253.
