Dr J. Oliver Daly is a Subspecialist Urogynaecologist supporting the delivery of patient-centred, multi-disciplinary team-based care and management of pelvic floor disorders for the women of western Melbourne. In addition to his private practice at Elgin House, he works as a Urogynaecologist and Obstetrician for Peninsula Health and Monash Health, and previously lead the Pelvic Floor Unit at Western Health for 10 years, establishing a tertiary mesh management service, obstetric trauma and perineal clinic, and supported the development of the advanced practice pelvic floor physiotherapy service.

He is one of the co-founders of the Commonwealth-funded Australasian Pelvic Floor Procedure Registry, has published over 40 peer reviewed articles and book chapters, and is a scientific editor for the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He has a special interest in birth-related pelvic floor trauma, through his research and training activities.

Oliver manages and provides patient-centred conservative, medical and/or surgical treatment for the following female pelvic conditions:

  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Bladder symptoms including urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, urinary tract infections and voiding dysfunction
  • Pelvic mesh related symptoms
  • Pelvic pain - mesh and bladder related
  • Pregnancy and birth related pelvic floor symptoms including anal incontinence
