Associate Prof. Collins is a specialist breast surgeon who has been practicing in this area for over 30 years. He has expertise in the diagnosis and management of early breast cancer and in benign diseases of the breast. He works at both the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Epworth Freemasons Hospital and has rooms at Epworth Freemasons at 320 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne. He was awarded an Order of Australia in the Australia Day Honours in 2020 for his work in organising and running of breast cancer trials which resulted in new therapies in breast cancer. He graduated from Melbourne University, is a Fellow of the Royal Australiasian College of Surgeons and American College of Surgeons.
