Dr Connell graduated MBBS B Med Sci from University of Melbourne in 2004, and worked in NSW, Victoria, Northern Territory and Tasmania, while undertaking dual training in Chemical Pathology and Endocrinology. She became a fellow of the RACP and RCPA in 2014. She currently has her private rooms at Blackburn Specialist Centre and has appointments to Epworth Eastern and Eastern Health (Box Hill Hospital). She has particular interest in diabetes care, in obstetric and perioperative endocrinology, and in transgender health. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her two primary school aged children, travelling and reading.
