She provides comprehensive management of conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, menstrual concerns and fertility challenges, taking a holistic, personalised approach that aligns treatment with each patient's symptoms and goals.
Avelyn is committed to supporting patients throughout their journey. With a calm and empathetic manner, she fosters a safe and respectful environment where patients feel heard and understood. Every consultation is an opportunity to tailor care and strive for the best possible outcome.
Avelyn graduated with Honours from Monash University and completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mercy Hospital for Women. She undertook an advanced laparoscopic fellowship through the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES), earning the highest level of accreditation (RANZCOG/AGES Level 6) in laparoscopic surgery in Australia. This additional training combined with Avelyn's experience enables her to manage conditions – including complex hysterectomies, large fibroids or severe endometriosis – through a keyhole approach allowing less pain and faster recovery.
