Dr. Eashan is an experienced Gynaecologist with a focus on minimally invasive surgery that he performs at Epworth and fertility that he offers through his partnership with Genea.
After completing university in 2011 and residency in 2014 in Queensland, he pursued six years of specialist training in Victoria followed by a further two-year, competitive, Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) Fellowship at The Royal Women's Hospital, where he currently serves as a staff specialist and AGES supervisor.
This further advanced surgical training allows him to address complex cases (e.g. stage IV endometriosis, fibroids), resulting in quicker recoveries, reduced pain, fewer complications, and improved patient satisfaction.
His qualifications, including a Masters in Reproductive Medicine, allow Dr. Eashan to provide comprehensive and compassionate care across a spectrum of gynaecological and fertility issues. Additionally, he continues to contribute to public health development by helping establish and lead the Advanced Combined Gynaecology-Colorectal-Urology Surgical Unit and the Public Fertility Service at Northern Health.
Dr. Eashan works alongside chronic pain specialists, colorectal surgeons, urologists, pelvic physiotherapists and radiologists to offer safe, patient-centred care.
