Dr Elizabeth Liow is a consultant medical oncologist and clinician-researcher with expertise in all solid tumours and a specialised interest in genitourinary (including kidney, bladder, testicular, and prostate cancers) and gynaecological malignancies. She currently holds a public appointment at Monash Health, and is Adjunct Lecturer in Medicine at Monash University. She is recognised for her integrated approach to patient care and research, with active leadership in clinical trials.

She obtained her medical degree from the University of Melbourne and gained early international research experience at the Accident and Emergency Medicine Academic Unit, Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong.

Dr Liow completed a fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where she was involved in a broad portfolio spanning genitourinary, lung, and gastrointestinal oncology. She also supported clinical research operations through the Centre for Biostatistics and Clinical Trials (BaCT). She is currently pursuing a PhD at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI), leading innovative kidney cancer research.

She has held a fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Cancer Trials Group (ANZUP) and continues to contribute to genitourinary oncology as principal investigator for several prostate and bladder cancer trials at Monash Health.

Dr Liow is widely published and has presented her work at numerous national and international scientific forums. She is an Adjunct Lecturer in Medicine at Monash University and actively contributes to the academic community through teaching, peer review, and collaborative research.
