Dr Haider Najjar is a gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgeon with a special interest in fertility, endometriosis, fibroids and minimally invasive surgery.
He understands that many people seek specialist care after months or years of unanswered questions. His approach focuses on listening carefully, understanding each person's concerns and explaining treatment options clearly, so decisions can be made with confidence.
Dr Najjar has extensive experience performing complex laparoscopic surgery and was a pioneer of Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) in Australia. For suitable patients, this technique may offer benefits such as a single small incision, reduced scarring and a quicker recovery.
As Co-Founder of Create Fertility and Create Health, Dr Najjar has cared for patients with a wide range of fertility and gynaecological conditions, including endometriosis, fibroids and infertility. He believes treatment should always be tailored to the individual, recognising that every patient's circumstances and goals are different.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr Najjar contributes to the advancement of women's healthcare through teaching and surgical education. He has served on the executive board of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES) and regularly teaches other surgeons in Australia and internationally.
Dr Najjar also consults in Arabic and German.
