Dr James Snell is a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist with a particular interest in liver disease. He also consults in all aspects of gastroenterology including inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, GORD, iron deficiency and bowel cancer prevention. James performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy and FibroScan.
James completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne. He subsequently completed his advanced gastroenterology training at The Alfred Hospital and Western Health. This included a sub-specialty hepatology fellowship year at The Alfred Hospital.
James also works as a Gastroenterologist in the public sector at The Alfred Hospital and Western Health.
