Dr Jason Chen is a Consultant Physician in Rehabilitation Medicine. He undertook specialist training in Victoria and is a fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

He has worked at subspecialty rehabilitation centres in Melbourne, focusing on spinal cord injuries and acquired brain injuries. He has a special interest in neurological, spinal, brain injury/concussion, orthopaedic, multi-trauma and cardiac rehabilitation. He is skilled in the use of botulinum toxin injections to treat spasticity. He holds a diploma in pain management, with his main interests being neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain conditions.

Dr Jason Chen also holds a public appointment at Western Health as the clinical lead of department. In addition to his clinical practice, he is actively involved in quality improvement, education of junior doctors and medical students, and is an accredited supervisor for rehabilitation medicine trainees. He is passionate about holistic medical care and works collaboratively with allied health therapists to create individualised plans to enhance patient's level of function and quality of life.
