Dr Kerian Robinson is a locally trained, Melbourne-based orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on hip, knee, and trauma surgery. He works privately at Epworth Richmond, and holds public appointments across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

After completing his orthopaedic training in Victoria, Dr Robinson undertook two specialist fellowships that shaped his surgical expertise. His first, based at Epworth Richmond, exposed Dr Robinson to Victoria's leading robotic and revision arthroplasty surgeons. He then undertook a dedicated hip preservation and anterior hip arthroplasty fellowship with Dr Jit Balakumar, gaining advanced experience in complex hip reconstruction, hip resurfacing, and the management of adolescent hip conditions.

Dr Robinson combines joint preservation, joint replacement, and trauma care in his practice. He is passionate about patient-centred care, taking the time to listen and tailor treatment to each individual's goals. By integrating robotic technology, evidence-based protocols, and minimally invasive techniques, he strives to minimise pain and support a faster return to activity.

Alongside clinical practice, he is involved in research and has educated future doctors as a clinical lecturer at Monash University and the University of Melbourne. Beyond medicine, he has a lifelong connection with sport, including representing Australia in men's netball, and enjoys family life with his four young sons.
