Affectionately known by his patients and colleagues as 'Vaginal Lionel', Lionel's focus is in empowering and supporting women to achieve low-intervention, vaginal births, and low caesarean rates. If a caesarean section is your desire, Lionel is fully supportive of your birth choice.
He is particularly sought after to help women achieve a vaginal birth after a previous caesarean section (VBAC), and also naturally birth babies who are breech.
