Dr Mohamed Ashour is a highly skilled surgeon with a broad scope of practice. His expertise has been honed through a combination of overseas and Australian experiences. He is a qualified surgeon with a diverse range of interests, including general, hepato-biliary, and upper gastrointestinal surgery. His expertise extends to interventional gastroscopy and colonoscopy as a GESA certified endoscopist.

Additionally, he shoulders the responsibility of guiding and mentoring junior surgical doctors as the supervisor within the postgraduate medical education unit at Eastern Health.
