Rachel is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is dedicated to providing holistic and individualised care for all of her patients. She considers it a true privilege to accompany families on their pregnancy journey, guiding them with medical expertise that encompasses and respects their wishes.
With extensive experience in Obstetrics, Rachel provides care for all types of pregnancies, whether they are uncomplicated or high risk. Rachel began her clinical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and subsequently, chose to pursue specialised training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Rachel undertook her specialist training at multiple hospitals throughout Melbourne and Victoria including the Royal Women's Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women, Northern Health, and Northeast Health Wangaratta.
After completing her specialist training, Rachel furthered her education in Obstetric and Gynaecological ultrasound, gaining significant expertise in high-risk pregnancy management, fetal medicine, genetics and ultrasound-guided procedures such as amniocentesis. She has been awarded a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU). Rachel remains actively involved in teaching current Obstetrics and Gynaecology trainees.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys travel, reading and exploring the great outdoors with her young family.
