Renata graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and completed her specialist training in Melbourne (Austin Health and Monash Health) and Sydney (St Vincent's Hospital). She obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2019. Renata is affiliated with Monash Health and works for the General Endocrine clinic, Endocrine Hypertension Service and as a ward consultant at the Victorian Heart Hospital.
She completed her PhD in 2023 through Monash University with funding from the prestigious NHMRC and National Heart Foundation to study Conn syndrome, the most common endocrine cause of hypertension. She continues her research work in aldosterone hormone as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research and also holds an Honorary Clinical Fellow position with the University of Melbourne for her academic work in diabetes.
Her clinical interests include diabetes, weight management, osteoporosis, thyroid, adrenal diseases and women's health. Other than English, Renata is also fluent in Indonesian.
