Dr Vaughan is a physician with an active interest in luminal gastroenterology including inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and Ulcerative colitis. She also routinely reviews, investigates and manages patients with a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders including coeliac disease, irritable bowels diseases, colonic polyps and liver diseases. She welcomes referrals for diarrhoea, abdominal pain, PR bleeding and malabsorption including iron deficiency. She has completed her PhD examining the role of intestinal ultrasound in monitoring patients with IBD in 2022 and undertook a fellowship at UCLH and St Marks hospital in the United Kingdom in 2024.
