Sahan graduated from Monash University and completed his internship and basic physician training at Alfred Health. He then went on to complete advanced physician training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine through the Royal Hobart Hospital and Alfred Hospital, including a 12-month sleep fellowship. Through this time, he has gained a broad experience across the specialty, including severe asthma, pulmonary hypertension and end-stage lung disease. He has been accredited by the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand to perform thoracic ultrasound, intercostal catheter insertion and bronchoscopy.
Sahan is available for outpatient consultations in respiratory and sleep medicine, to organise sleep studies and/or lung function and to provide inpatient care.
