A/Prof Cohney is a Nephrologist & General physician, internationally recognised for contributions to transplantation and nephrology, holding appointments at the University of Melbourne and Monash Universities. He has served on an international panel on management of diabetes after transplantation, and spent extended periods teaching in the developing world and establishing the first renal transplant centre in Nepal.
Shlomo has expertise in the management of Type II diabetes and cardiovascular disease, especially in conjunction with the management of chronic kidney disease (CKD). He also has particular expertise and experience in renal transplant medicine.
