DrSiew Kar (Alex)Chen

I grew up in Malaysia from Penang but fell in love with the vastness and the beauty of the Australian landscape. I moved down to Geelong in 2019 and have called it home ever since.

My area of expertise lies in general neurology, with both acute and chronic neurological presentations but my interests lie in neuro-education as well as system management. I provide botulinum injections for migraines and axillary hyperhidrosis.

I believe the core principles that make up a good neurologist are empathetic curiosity, adaptive interpersonal communication as well as system-based thinking. My aim would always be to educate, as I believe in the strength of human agency to determine its own fate.

Outside of work, you would either find me on a trail run or in a yoga studio.
