Dr Sinjini Biswas is a General and Interventional Cardiologist based at Epworth Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Bendigo Health. After completing her General Cardiology training at Royal Melbourne Hospital, she received scholarships from the National Heart Foundation to complete a PhD at Monash University. She undertook advanced subspecialty training in Complex Coronary Intervention and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) at The Alfred Hospital, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Bristol Royal Infirmary. She subsequently worked as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Bristol Royal Infirmary for 2 years, before returning to Melbourne.

Dr Biswas specialises in the assessment of chest pain, performing complex coronary intervention with precision using intracoronary imaging, and the minimally-invasive treatment of aortic stenosis with transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

Dr Biswas regularly supervises medical students and Junior Medical Staff at RMH. She is also a dedicated clinician-researcher who has published widely and has served as invited faculty for several major international cardiology conferences. Dr Biswas is passionate about personalised, holistic and compassionate care for her patients.
