Dr. Bloom has advanced training in liver disease and non-invasive assessment of liver cirrhosis. Dr. Bloom is also well versed in management of inflammatory bowel disease and general gastroenterological disorders through his involvement in patient care at Eastern Health. Dr. Bloom in currently involved in out of hours management of acute gastrointestinal bleeding and patient management at Eastern Health and Epworth Eastern. Dr. Bloom is the current site head of gastroenterology at the Angliss Hospital and is a senior staff member at Eastern Health.
