Surjit is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in central Melbourne with dual fellowship qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery from Australia and England. He undertook fellowships in lower limb Arthroplasty (Melbourne), Trauma (Melbourne) and Pelvic and acetabular trauma (Melbourne and Baltimore, USA). He has a special interest in lower limb joint replacements, pelvic and acetabular trauma, sports injuries and fracture management.
Surjit is actively involved in teaching (Surgical Educators Group, The Royal Melbourne Hospital), has presented nationally and internationally, and authored 'Enhanced recovery considerations for major orthopaedic surgery' for the Graduate Diploma of Perioperative Medicine in conjunction with the University of Melbourne.
