Dr Tony He is an interventional endoscopist and gastroenterologist who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal, liver and pancreaticobiliary disorders.

Tony graduated with First Class Honours (Monash University Medical School) in 2014 and then completed his speciality physician training at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, Northern Health and Austin Health. Tony has since trained and worked internationally at NTT Medical Centre Tokyo, Japan and St Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Tony's expertise includes gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy and small bowel enteroscopy for the detection and treatment of GI pathology. Tony is also skilled in interventional procedures that include EUS, ERCP, endoscopic resection of early GI cancers (EMR, ESD) and treatment of achalasia, gastroparesis and Zenker's diverticulum.

Tony is also a clinician researcher working at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne and is completing his PhD at the University of Melbourne (UoM). His research focuses on Barrett's oesophagus and early oesophageal cancer. Tony's individual and collaborative research has been presented at national and international conferences and has led to multiple peer reviewed publications. The impact of his research has been recognised with a UoM research program scholarship.

Tony is fluent in English and Chinese, allowing him to effectively communicate with his patients, ensuring they are well-informed and involved in their treatment plans.
