Dr Nik Saha holds several prestigious academic and clinical positions across Melbourne. He is the current Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Melbourne Dental School, where he leads the teaching program, and helps to shape the next generation of the profession. Nik is also a consultant surgeon at Monash Health, providing specialist care with a focus on orthognathic surgery, wisdom tooth surgery, and complex facial reconstruction and implantology including bone grafting and zygomatic implants.
His expertise is grounded in 17 years of rigorous training. Nik is dual-qualified in dentistry (University of Melbourne) and medicine (Monash University), holds a Master of Surgery (University of Sydney), and achieved Fellowship in OMS through comprehensive Victorian training. He subsequently underwent advanced training in minimally invasive arthroscopic TMJ surgery in Sydney. He is also a distinguished Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Saha is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree to extend his scope to healthcare law.
