Areas of Interest
Mr Arash Riazi has a keen interest in sports and lower limb joint replacement surgery and has had further training with prominent surgeons in the area of knee sports injuries and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. He completed his Orthopaedic training at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He spent 2011 in the country working in Shepparton and Bendigo predominantly performing emergency/ trauma and general elective orthopaedic surgery. He also observed and participated in surgery in the USA where he worked with prominent surgeons in the areas of hip and knee joint replacement.
Arash has an interest in complex hip and knee conditions including revision surgery and has completed further training in Robotic assisted arthroplasty and Anterior total hip replacement.
He has also represented the Docceroo's (Australian Medical Soccer team) in the World Medical Football Championships since 2011 recently making it to the Quarterfinals in Dublin, Ireland.
