Mr Cam Fary is a Melbourne-based orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions.

Areas of Expertise: Mr Fary focuses on hip and knee surgery, including anterior hip replacement using a muscle-sparing technique that aims to support faster recovery, robotic assisted knee replacement surgery, and keyhole (arthroscopic) hip & knee surgery.

Training & Experience: After completing his orthopaedic training in Australia, Mr Fary undertook advanced fellowships in Lyon (France) and Oxford (United Kingdom), gaining specialist expertise in complex hip and knee procedures.

Commitment to Better Outcomes: Mr Fary is passionate about using the latest technology to improve patient care. He is currently completing a PhD at the University of Melbourne, researching robotic surgery, smart sensors used during and after operations, and digital tools that use movement analysis to support rehabilitation at home.

Teaching & Research: Mr Fary is actively involved in training the next generation of surgeons and teaches medical students at the University of Melbourne. He also advises on best-practice implant selection to ensure patients receive high-quality, cost-effective care.
