Mr Christian Kenfield is a Melbourne based Hepatobiliary, Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric surgeon with a strong interest in both cancer and trauma surgery. Christian's specialty interests include surgery of the liver, gall bladder, pancreas and stomach, surgery for GORD (gastric reflux), and Metabolic and Bariatric (weight loss) surgery. Christian also performs a large range of general surgical operations and works both in public and private practice. Christian has spent several post fellowship years training with world renowned surgeons in both open and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery across many fields. He also continues to be an active member of The Royal Australian Army (Reserves) and the Australian Medical Assistance Team (AUSMAT), with extensive operation deployments throughout Indonesia and the south pacific.
