Mr James Canty is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with national and international experience. He has a broad range of Orthopaedic practice, including management of hip and knee arthritis, soft tissue and reconstructive surgery of the knee, as well as general Orthopaedic trauma.

After graduating from the University of Melbourne with a medical degree in 2001 and a number of years of surgical experience, he completed his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Victoria. Focusing on all aspects of knee and hip surgery, he furthered his experience by completing two internationally regarded fellowships in Melbourne and Oxford.
