Dr Kapil Sethi is a specialist in HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate), laser prostate surgery, and minimally invasive treatments for BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia). He is among the early adopters of HoLEP in Melbourne, providing men with effective, durable outcomes and faster recovery compared with traditional prostate surgery.
He also performs robotic prostate and kidney surgery, offering precision, minimal scarring, and improved postoperative function. His practice focuses on delivering evidence-based, minimally invasive urological care across prostate, kidney, and bladder conditions.
Dr Sethi is Victorian trained and completed further advanced fellowship training at the world-renowned Martini Klinik (Hamburg), a global leader in robotic prostate surgery. He is actively involved in registrar teaching, surgical training, and research in laser prostatectomy and robotic techniques. He established the HoLEP service at three other leading hospitals in Melbourne. Dr Sethi is Convenor of the Epworth Urology Masterclass in BPH, a leading national education forum advancing best practice in HoLEP and minimally invasive prostate surgery.
Mr Sethi is committed to providing personalised, patient-centred care using the latest surgical innovations to optimise outcomes for men’s health.
